Lynch’s Banagher – a unique experience
Lynch’s Banagher is within close proximity to major towns including Tullamore and Athlone (25mins drive) Ballinasloe, and Birr. You will find the boutique on Main Street of the town and there is free parking.

Across from the boutique is the very welcoming Flynn’s Bar and Restaurant. It is one of Banagher’s oldest pubs. Flynn’s has a warm and friendly atmosphere. An open fire immediately makes visitors feel welcome. It’s staff are renowned for their personal attention and customer appreciation. Why not relax and take a break for awhile and pop over for a coffee or enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner. A short distance away from Lynch’s in the direction of the Shannon is Adam’s Vine House. There is plenty to choose from on their menu with food served throughout the day. Other choices include JJ Hough’s, a very welcoming traditional Irish pub located just beside Lynch’s and Corrigan’s Corner House on the square.

Banagher is a very busy location for visitors to the River Shannon and only a short walk from the town you will find the marina. Fishing and angling are popular all year around. The marina provides excellent facilities for river cruisers and water sports. A number of local companies are based at the marina including Silverline Cruisers which encourage visitors to hire out cruisers to explore the River Shannon and the surrounding areas. Take a relaxing stroll along the river walk at the marina.
Other things of interest in the area
Various medieval fortifications can be found throughout the town of Banagher including Cromwell’s castle and the Martello tower. Visit Banagher’s very own brewery where the celebrated Bo Bristle beer, ale and stout are brewed. The beer is available is many of the pubs in Banagher and is delicious to taste!
Why not take a trip to Birr (a 10 minute drive from Banagher) where you can explore Birr Castle and it’s award winning gardens. On the grounds of the castle there’s the world renowned ‘great’ telescope. For the kids there is a wonderful playground, treehouse and a science centre.
